“You either get bitter or you get better. It’s that simple. You either take what has been dealt to you and allow it to make you a better person, or you allow it to tear you down. The choice does not belong to fate, it belongs to you.“
-Josh Shipp
We all face challenges in life. The ups and downs will continue as long as we are breathing because that is part of the nature of life. And it is up to us to use those experiences as stepping stones to lift us to our higher potential or to become bitter and allow it to stagnate us and pull us down.
I think life presents us with these moments to help us grow and become more of who we are meant to be…If we are willing. It’s ok to be angry, its ok to be bitter but for how long do we carry it? It’s healthy to feel our feelings but it comes to a point where we can choose to feel sorry for ourselves or instead say how can I use this to make me better? How can I find more compassion for others through this? Do you allow the challenges that you have been though in your life make you bitter? Or do you learn and grow from it and allow it to make you shine brighter to become more of who you are meant to be? “The choice does not belong to fate, it belongs to you.”
Namaste.
